NAME
rdup-gpg, encrypt - encrypt files with gpg received
from rdup -c
SYNOPSIS
rdup-gpg [ OPTIONS ] [
RECIPIENT ]
DESCRIPTION
rdup-gpg, by default, encrypts the data
it receives from rdup with the default public key in your
key ring. When RECIPIENT is empty, the default recipient
(you) is used, otherwise it is used in the
--default-recipient option of `gpg'.
For example,
rdup -c list ~/Documents | rdup-gpg | rdup-snap -c -b /tmp/storage
Note the -c option for rdup-snap.
OPTIONS
- -c
- This option is ignored, rdup-gpg always works on the
files' content. This "feature" was added because all rdup-util
scripts have such an option.
- -d
- Decrypt the files. You need `gpg-agent' running for this to
work ok, otherwise you need to type your passphrase for
every file that is decrypted.
- -a
- Use `gpg-agent`, usefull when decrypting a backup.
- -h
- Show a short help message.
- -V
- Show the version.
