NAME
svc-start - Start a svscan service.
SYNOPSIS
svc-start [ -q ] SERVICE
DESCRIPTION
svc-start causes svscan to start
the named service by first waiting for svscan to start a
supervise task, then marking the service as up, and finally
waiting the service to be marked as running. It does the above
three steps on the service's log service, if it exists, prior to
starting the service.
OPTIONS
-q Suppress all non-error messages.
ENVIRONMENT
- SVSCANDIR
- If set, this overrides the default of /service for the
directory into which the services should be linked.
